Poland

Poland is a special country for us. It is the country we know best and it is a country that we can write about for hours, but it is also a country about which it is very hard for us to be objective.

We can live abroad, we can travel, but we will always come back to this country situated in the heart of Europe, sunny and hot in the summer but snowy and cold during wintertime.

So – why should you visit Poland? Well, simply because it is a hidden gem discovered only in a very small part by mass tourism. Otherwise it is genuine and pure. Centuries-old cities with rich and often turbulent past – Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw or Sandomierz just to name a few; marvelous unspoiled nature from the dunes of Baltic Sea to the picks of Sudety mountains; great food – pierogi (dumplings), kielbasa (sausage), vodka and pierniki (spicy gingerbread); hospitable people and very reasonable prices. Nevertheless, today’s Poland is a very modern country with constantly developing infrastructure and dynamically growing economy. We have been incredibly privileged to eyewitness an impressive transition that Poland has undergone in the last nearly 30 years. From a communist country to a Member of the European Union, which is for us, pro-Europeans, especially important. Summing up, if you want to see a truly European country without hordes of buses spitting out hundreds of tourists – come and see Poland. It is certainly worth it and we will be more than glad to guide you along!
